Measuring Outcomes – Is it making a difference?

Measuring outcomes is regarded as a key step in developing a better healthcare service while keeping costs down. It requires the development of a culture that values constant improvement and measurement. But what difference is it making to the quality of services? To help answer that question, the Community Therapists Network are running a one day conference that will look at how one outcome measure, the TOM (Therapy Outcome Measure), is being used within rehabilitation services across the NHS, and the impact it is having. Details of this event can be found further down this bulletin.
