Launched in April of 2023, the Neurocafe in Tonbridge, is currently a monthly ‘Pop-up, Drop-In’ opportunity for people to meet up in Town Lock, Day Centre, in Lyon’s Crescent.
As the name suggests, it has been created to encourage the development of a support network and community for anyone touched (directly or indirectly) by a brain and mind related condition.
The aim of the service is to support provision of a more person-centred, ‘trauma-informed’, lifestyle neurosciences approaches; to empower people to optimise their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, after having experienced receiving news of a brain and/or mind related diagnosis.

The then mayor of Tonbridge, Councillor James Lark, met the Neurocafe Tonbridge Team, Neil Bindemann, Jacqueline Hart, Christine Parker and Andrew Perret.
Tonbridge and Malling MP, and Minister of State for Security sends a message of support to the team.
